The very fact that your heart is heavy means that you can still feel.
The same water that softens the potato, hardens the egg.
So many in this world have been lost to cynicism and a hardening of the heart. These are trying times.
There is a place for the gentle hearts of the world...especially at this time.
I know it may seem like a small consolation, but know that you are not alone.

I am not looking forward to falling asleep tonight... this will be my third night with full on COVID symptoms. I did not know I could sweat so much.

Soaked the sheets... put down a layer of towels, changed sleeping shorts and dried myself off. Fell asleep and an hour later, same problem. Got my mother’s quilts out of the closet... tried using them and woke up a few hours later and had soaked them too.

From what I have read, one more bad night and then the fatigue kicks in.

I'm doing fine for now, nobody came in yet, I was told company has collective vacation until 2nd January. Maybe I'll be able to catch a nap ...if nobody comes that is.

...I only hope that other people feel no worse than I do right now; it is mostly about a state of mind, but my mind has been in a right state. Still, it is not completely over, yet
