I am from the future. I was not intending to come back to this time. It was an accident. Now, I am stuck.

I am on foot in the middle of nowhere with zero transportation now.

I had tools I used to break in with when I got here and I left them outside, but they aren't here now because I got sent back in time.

The door is locked and I don't have anything to pry it open with.

I have to huff it out of here, get some tools and get back here, break in again and try to go back in time again a little further.

I hope I have enough water to make it to more water. Fortunately, it isn't hot out this time of year.

Had to put a date fudger and stop the "Most important" clocks for time travellers to stop at 12/28/2020 10:30 just to keep time flowing for those not time travelling. My clock goes a minute a second, and used to freeze or give such supporting messages like "You dud".
Hell time is kinda moving infinitely forward in relation to Heaven atm, so a lot of people are kinda just going in and immediately getting out, but it does help creations along since a lot of new things have to go through Hell before they get to Heaven.

People were kinda doing fucked up shit with non-euclidean spaces, Jeff Bezos was setting up Amazon facilities so you'd actually be working for 16 hours compressed, and not even realize it because all the clocks except his world clock experiment would show only 8 hours passed.

I realized that travelling in the daytime makes no sense since I will use up my water and I can't see where the lights are to figure out which way to go.

I am going to wait until night time and then use the lights to figure out which way to go.

I think I will email myself and hope the other me gets back to me and will help me out somehow.

Obviously, that is probably the only person I can trust.

Oh, to the person talking about flux capacitors, I am familiar with Back to the Future and the reference, obviously. I am only from a year in the future, so it is basically negligible difference in age and I grew up with all the same references everyone here did.

And to the other person who says that the power is out. The power is not out. The power is on in the future. If power was out, gas pumps wouldn't work, self checkout wouldn't work and credit cards wouldn't work. We still have power, but internet went down.

My guess is that the powers that be realized that we were all waking up and that having the internet up would help us organize and inform each other, possibly resulting in their capture or identification.

Think about it, with the internet up, if one person knows that some rich person is on a yacht and went east and posts it online, a thousand people are going to get in boats and hunt that person down when they get the information off the internet, so they pulled the plug on the internet.

Since the internet is down, nobody orders shit online and people aren't staring at their phone constantly. I carry a solar charger though because if the internet went down, what's to say that the power grid might not go down next. I made sure I had one on hand because if you don't have one and the power goes down, everyone is going to rush to get them and they will run out pretty quick.

I plug mine in at night and in the morning it starts charging my phone when the sun comes up. I like to use it when I am outside camping. If there is a streetlight, I will leave it under the streetlight to try to get a trickle charge from the streetlight, but there was no light out here last night at all except the flashlight on the phone which died along with the phone. I have pretty good night vision, which is good if I am going to travel at night, but if I don't get my former self to come pick me up, this could be a really long walk back to civilization.

I drove out here but my vehicle is in the future now parked here, not with me. In this time, it is with the younger me who isn't anywhere near where I am located now...shit! It's going to be a long walk.

I'm going to get some more rest and take off when it gets dark and I can see the lights and figure out which way is which. Note to younger self if you read this, please take a bearing on which way you came from and which way is the closest to get out of here on foot. maybe bring a bicycle into the building and time travel with a bike next time...

I don't know who if anyone is going to be "president" in this timeline. In my timeline, it didn't matter who got elected. Even before everybody woke up, the country was split in half about who was supposed to be running things.

Then, when the media tried to cover up stuff, those who took one side or another realized that both sides were working for the same elite and that became the common perception everywhere.

Within a month, there wasn't one person walking around believing in Biden, Trump, Covid-19, vaccines, 9/11 or a moon landing.

Information spread so fast to the newbies that were trying to catch up, people were so blown away...

There is no such thing as a mask tard anymore. People who wore masks think it is a joke now. I haven't seen anybody wear a mask for months.

You are probably wondering why some people still pay money at walmart...if they didn't, then walmart couldn't pay for backstock to be replaced and they would run out.

It is written on the doors. If you want to keep having a place to come back and shop and you still have money, pay for what you buy. If you are broke, take just what you need, don't hoard and you can leave with it.

Like people used to wear masks thinking it would help others, nobody does that anymore...they know it is a lie now...but they believe that if they don't pay if they can, then their city could end up looking like one of the cities that's "autonomous" and nobody wants that. People want to keep the peace. That is what most people want.

Those cities that are autonomous zones, nobody likes that shit. It's depressing and sad and those people are just lost souls acting out against the "government" even though there is no government. Nobody wants to engage with them. People want to stay alive and stay where it is safe. Nobody wants any trouble.

Events that happen in the future:

In my timeline, the election was contested.

When the information came out about the fraud, the left tried to cover it up on the media and the viewers of the left started to question the cover up because it simply made no sense once all the evidence came out.

Like, Biden stole it from Sanders on the left, so support for Biden went away even for people who didn't want Trump.

And anybody that liked trump and realized covid and the masks were BS, they were glad the left woke up and stopped supporting Biden, but they weren't as jazzed up about Trump since he was doing warp speed and people were getting side effects...

Then, people started going on the internet and started calling out the rich elites as the cause and nobody much cared for who the little guys were...it was all about the billionaires behind the whole thing.

That's when they went after Bill Gates.

Once that was done, the powers that be took off.

No more ABC, no more CNN, no more CBS, not even FOX. CSPAN gone.

Then the internet was really, really slow because everybody was trying to watch videos about the conspiracies. The posts on GLP were happening so fast, it was insane. Like 100 posts a second, brand new threads.

I don't know if we crashed the internet overloading it or the powers that be shut it down. One day it just went from slow to NO.

I haven't been on the internet for months and it is weird. Society is sort of like before the internet, but there isn't MSM either. You can still watch movies on DVD, but not over broadband since there is no broadband.

I guess Amazon tanked since the internet went down. Google gone. Facebook nada. No more twitter. No more instagram. All gone. No more silicon valley jobs. Bye bye.

Prices came down on everything. The bubble burst. There is no stock market at all. No stocks. Walmart is still running regardless of stocks.

With no government, but we still have military and power and phones work, but no internet.

If you went to a government site that's rundown on the future and used it to travel back in time to the same site. The government is still operating today so why was this time travel base empty in present day? Why would a time machine be deserted and left with chains on the doors in our time?

When I got here, there was nobody here. I was sneaking around trying to check out stuff where nobody else is.

The reason I was able to find this place and felt so comfortable looking around is that I used to be in the military, so I kind of know what to look out for in terms of patrols, gate guards and all that sort of thing.

I don't know why nobody was here when I got here. It occurred to me that whoever WAS here did what I did and activated the device. However, I don't think they realized that the area that got sent back in time was a lot bigger than they thought.

I didn't know when I entered 5 on the computer and hit enter that I was getting sent back in time.

I thought it was going to give me more instructions like to enter some sort of smaller compartment or something.

Apparently, everything in the building went back in time.

My guess is that included whoever was guarding it inside the building.

There would be no reason for anybody to stand guard outside this.

There is literally just a door that goes into a really small building just above the ground, but when you go in, it goes down several steps and then there's a hallway that keeps making right turns as it slopes down until you get to two big ass double doors. When you enter the double doors, you are in a big room that is underground so you can't tell how big the facility is from above ground. Above ground, it doesn't look like anything special. It looks like a million other small one door buildings like that might have some kind of communications node or radio antenna or something affiliated. No descriptions or anything. Completely uninteresting.

I broke in with some shit I had in my car for getting in to places.

There were no other vehicles here when I got here.

Whoever was here last must have been dropped off from a shuttle because they didn't want to attract attention to the spot with vehicles parked outside. It would be too obvious.

I wondered why nobody is here now and also why I only went roughly a year back.

This facility was probably only about a year old and therefore, the facility had to be programmed to go back no earlier than it was constructed or you would end up inside bedrock underground after time travelling.

Whoever went back in time before me must have known that and tested it by going back a short amount of time to test it and see if it worked. I guess I showed up after they went back in time and it took all of them back and dropped them off sometime between now and when I left.

I really don't follow sports or play the lottery.

I didn't know I was going to find a time travel device.

Honestly, I always had a hunch that there might be tunnels connecting underground bases and I thought if I could find some out of the way place near a base with nobody guarding it and bust in, maybe it would be connected to some tunnel system that leads to other places and maybe I could find out what kind of secret shit they have underground.

I didn't expect to find what I did. I don't know if there are other places like this one or if this is the prototype or what. I sort of think having this kind of dumb luck is astronomically impossible, but then my whole life has been dumb luck like that.

I'm not the brightest guy ever. I don't know how this shit works or anything. I didn't even bring my break in tools with me. I thought I would be right back out to grab them and that whatever I found in there would be lame and I would be leaving quickly and looking for another place. So, I left the tools outside because they are kind of a pain to carry and I didn't know if someone was going to be in there, I wanted to be light on my feet if I had to get out quick. Now, I don't have tools to break in and there's nothing around here for a really, really long ways so it's probably going to be days before I can make it back here with some tools.

Oh, shit, there is chain link out here, maybe, not sure if that's too thick, hold on...gonna see if I can unwind some chain link and twist it around until it breaks off a piece of itself and try to straighten it out and bend it to grab the catch inside the door...

Dude, you have no idea how hard it is to disassemble chain link without tools. The top is braided to the adjacent one and you have to bend it in reverse with a rock without cutting your fingers in the process.

I'm already winded and I'm barely started.

I will post again after I manage to deconstruct this thing. Right now, I'm just taking a break to rest my hands and look for a better rock to make this easier.

I managed to get some chain link loose and get the door open again and propped it open so it doesn't lock me out again.

I have to be outside to get on the internet. It doesn't work inside because it is underground under concrete.

I don't want to give you coordinates to the place because I don't want you to make the same mistake I did and go through time. I am already regretting it.

I am going to try to figure out if I can make this thing go back to when I left and go back to the future where I have my car and can get myself out of this situation.
