Ayahuasca intention advise
If anyone who has experienced an ayahuasca ceremony I would like some insights. What type of intentions work best? How specific? One for the weekend or a different one each night. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
I spent a week in the Amazon and did it three times. Each night was completely different.

This is a matter of opinion but in the spirit of “allowing” I would ask Spirit to show me what I need to know. Of course you can go in with a question but sometimes we may be asking the wrong ones. If your subconscious or Spirit is allowed to choose then it might be to your highest advantage.

I do know that some people in the group did set intentions of what they wanted answered.

Either way, it is a fascinating journey and I’m sure you will learn from it if you are open to the experience. Best wishes!

Thank you! So would it be fair to say your intention was, “show me what I need to learn”?

You shouldnt be asking for advice. You shouldnt search info about it.

You must go without previous ideas and prejudices.

Ive only do it once 3 months ago, crazy experience, will do it again in the future.

Ive experienced many journeys. I try to do it twice a year.
Your intention really doesn't matter. When Mama Sacha comes to you, there will only be one question..."Do you wish to be healed?"...your answer is the catalyst for the experience.

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
I have drinking the Ceremonial Cacao:

Raw Criolla Cacao from Central or South America
Cayenne powder
Cinnamon, Nutmeg & Ginger
Warm/Hot water

Sometimes I add Chaga mushroom powder (for pain).

I have a cup once or twice a day.

And I absorb the Spirits of the Ayahuasca & San Pedro plants as Puma Fredy does his magick and sends the Spirits all across the globe. (no ingesting of the physical sacred plants, just the Spirits)

I've been doing it about a week now and last night I had a dream with 2 snakes in it.
I was walking through a jungle & saw what I thought was a small snake in the tress on my left close to my head.
I started swatting it (with a stick I think) and it finally crawled away.

Next thing I know (still in the dream) I am in a big garage like building and hub is there washing a vehicle. The snake that I saw before was crawling against the wall but it was 30 or 50 feet long and big in diameter all wrapped around itself in the middle but it was slowly slithering toward hub.

I told him to watch out for the snake but he just kept washing the vehicle.

I noticed I had a small (maybe a foot long) snake in my left hand.

Is this a normal experience or did I luck out? There was no fear (well maybe when it was close to my head but that was it.

My friend did a cleanse one month beforehand--no meds and the recommended diet, but nothing happened for her during the ceremony.

Literally nothing.

She's recommending her shaman is this wise?

2004 with a Shaman in Cuzco, Peru.

Just go and stop thinking about it. Go and experience it and get what you get. Make sure you don’t eat solids for 2-3 days prior to keep your purge easy.

If you meditate just do that. You booked the session, now forget about it and enjoy the last bit of time you have as an unconscious human.
Best thing I ever did.

Ps. If you don’t feel anything or the experience ends to quick - ask for more. The shaman should guide you and ensure you get the right safe dose.

Ps. Don’t get scared, it’s amazing and could reveal why you are here in this meat suit.

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
tried it in Peru. crawled out of the hut when the shaman turned his chanting to me and I started feeling spiritually assaulted. Not for me!

but they also have a cactus down there named san pedro that for me is a perfect trip. instead of darkness it brings light, visions and instructions.

it got me "outta my skin" for the first time which in itself is pretty enlightening.

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
Don't ask anything. They already know. The first hour might be a little rough.

You'll be hit with some fears and negative energy and this nastiness will build up in your solar plexus, stomach area and then there's usually a purge. A massive gagging/puking. I never eat on the day I use, because I worry about choking.

After that, the darkness will subside and you can 'relax' and ride the wheel for a bit. It's quite a scene.

In my experience, there is usually a spirit guide, like a more composed version of yourself, who will walk you through some of this.

But I would assume it's different for everyone.

Try to record it if you can. Audio or video.

I did this the last time and it was really helpful to remember and recapture some of the experience.

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
peyote is another powerful alternative that can provide powerful insights and visions but definitely not for everyone. (no alcohol for 24 hours prior!)

Both ayahuasca and peyote can be exploited by black magic but san pedro maybe not so much.

I find it's always best to gather directly from nature and prepare it yourself; no matter which one you are using.

I would stay away from ayahuasca if I were you...
(BTW, no one can advise intentions for you, just sayin'...)

Re: Ayahuasca intention advise
I have done several ceremonies with a shaman. If i could offer one piece of advice, it's this: Surrender. Do not fight, do not resist. The medicine knows what you need. Accept what is revealed to you and the process will be much more comfortable. If you fight or resist, you will be utterly broken until you submit. You seem to have great intentions and i think you will have a wonderful experience. Good luck to you!

4 nights was my experience.

In my case, I had a different shaman each night, and each one will have their own "tincture".

First night was the most intense. However the "breakthrough" for me was on the third night. I could have stopped there but was offered again on the fourth night, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity.

Ego.

Be prepared to let go of your ego. If you fight it, you wont complete the journey. You must let it go. It is a spiritual rebirth.

Also, forgiveness.. You not only will have to forgive everyone, but most importantly, you must forgive yourself.

I have been sober and clean from everything(alcohol, nicotine, junk food, etc) for 2 years 7 months now. I always thought I couldn't have done it on my own. That I was too weak to get through it. But I was wrong. I had to be taken to a place of total weakness, to the point of feeling as helpless as a newborn child to realize my true inner strength. It's hard to explain.

Good luck
