Chinese billionaire Jack Ma (Ma Yún), founder of Alibaba, remains missing.

The Chinese government's siege of the businessman began in October, after he criticized the government during a conference, after that he was never seen again.

In early December, an investigation was opened against Jack Ma's Ant Group on suspicion of monopoly, an IPO of the group was also suspended.

Last week, the Chinese government ordered the country's largest digital payment platform (Alipay), which also belongs to Mr Ma, to reduce its operations, citing flaws in the company's corporate governance.
