Pence informed Trump that he can't block Biden's win
Quoting: Dangerous Times  sry, nope. Vice President Mike Pence on Tuesday told President Donald Trump that he does not have the authority to block certification of President-elect Joe Biden’s win when Congress meets to count electoral votes. Trump, who already had turned up the pressure on Pence to steal the election, warned him that it would be politically “damaging” for Pence to refuse to block certification, according to a source familiar with the conversation. Pence "gently" informed Trump during the meeting that the power doesn’t exist for him to derail the process.Pence plays a logistical role in helping Trump win. You'll see. (it doesn't have to be the role of "derailing the process")  The following breaks it down: I want Trump to win, because he did win if you only count legitimate votes. BUT....
FOR THE ZILLIONTH TIME....The Vice President has ZERO AUTHORITY to choose between competing slates of electors for any given state. All he can do is claim an objection exists, based on at least one U.S. Rep and one U.S. Senator objecting. Then:
1. Counting stops and both houses have a debate.
2. Both houses vote on which slate to accept for the contested State.
3. If they both vote for the alternate slate, Trump gets those electors and Biden does not. If they don't both vote for the alternate slate, Pence must count the original slate.
4. On to the next state.
PENCE IS A COUNTER, not an adjudicator. That's all he can do.
