We are channeling something higher and so amazing and creative outside of us when we are in this fearless state

I think true submission is an addition in later religious works.
A more accurate description is a spiritual union of the masculine and feminine. In my research I've found that even Pre-Israelite culture which we find in the bible, there was a reference to God's wife.
That reference was removed.

Perhaps part of your struggle (and many others) in finding a 'man to submit to', is because finding a partner to be truly equal with is harder and harder in our current society.

This actually concerns me a fair bit, it has since I saw it becoming a huge cultural trend.
Specifically - tattoos.
I know numerous mid 20's females with a 'deathly hallows' tattoo. They've all become quite interested in the occult, have become excessively feminist (the hardcore kind), they press opinions on others and resist all male advice.

Being a male I often don't know how to deal with this as I care for them. Some have asked questions regarding occult practices, some ask and dismiss the answers, some don't ask.

The symbol itself, it truly seems like it represents a division of unity to me.

For the record, none of them have a sexual partner known to society.
