Most Heavy Troop Transports and a lot of Black Hawks At the time I post this there are 103 Military planes in the air. I'm not one of those people that recognize what a plane is by it's name so I'm still reserching whats flying to see what kind of planes they are. I will post more of what I find. Or if any of you military whiz's want to help out I would appreciate it. Quoting: Unna One strange thing I noticed right off is that there were several planes flying together. They are refueling planes. Which means there are planes they are keeping up in the air for long periods of time. COuld they be refueling planes that arn't putting out a call sign? IDK My question to anyone knowledgeable, is this normal traffic. I usually do not see this kind of military traffic when I check the site. C130 Lockheed EC-130 H Hercules The Lockheed C-130 Hercules is an American four-engine turboprop military transport aircraft designed and built originally by Lockheed (now Lockheed Martin). Capable of using unprepared runways for takeoffs and landings, the C-130 was originally designed as a troop, medevac, and cargo transport aircraft. |

E prefix denotes the plane is for electronic operations. C prefix denotes cargo. The airframe designation is c-130, the one you mention is a c-130 specially outfitted for electronics missions. There are sever kinds of ec130, each with a different letter appending that denotes their specific mission/function. Like I said, I looked and see nothing out of the ordinary. |

Most Heavy Troop Transports and a lot of Black Hawks I've heard it said to watch troop and equipment movements if you want to be alert to possible action. So right now there are a ton of heavy carriers, black hawks and other helicopters, the doomsday plane, and mobile command planes. These are just the few I've been able to identify. |

What are they refueling? What types of planes would need to stay in the air for long periods of time? |

C30J is a C-130, used for LOTS of general cargo flights. K35R is refueling. C5 is bigger cargo, or sometimes troops. C17 also large cargo. There are some classic airliners that are used by the military to move people, like the DC10 or Boeing 700 series (B762, for example). A300 series are Airbus varients. V22 is the Osprey. H numbers are helos. Set the filter to MLAT. |

Cannon fodder. We are not even supposed to have a military. We are supposed to have militias. |

Most Heavy Troop Transports and a lot of Black Hawks Perfectly normal. It's not the planes you have to worry about, it's the ground forces. They will never be deployed domestically against We the People because many will stand down and walk off the job. I would have if I was still in. |
