Yes, I experienced something somewhat similar - a few years ago, once.

I used to aim to do a globalised synchronised meditation once a week, but had to get up super early to do it. I think this one week was meant to be an especially significant astrological time. I remember thinking I should at least get up on time for this one.

On that morning, I roused in my sleep thinking I needed to get up - but was very sleepy still, and decided I would simply roll over and get some more rest. Then I saw this flash of light across my room that lasted maybe a second or two. I knew it was not normal as I live in the country, and there is NO outside traffic etc. I looked towards my window, and there was nothing there (no planes or anything.) Then I saw the light again, but this time for only a fraction of a second. I was just thinking how freaky this was, and confirmed to myself I was properly awake and not dreaming, but still wanted to get back to sleep. I rolled over onto my other side and saw a slither of light coming from the top of my bedroom door. I assumed I had left the light on in my lounge room or something. Then I saw it for a third time. The light coming from the top of the door (from other side of it - from hallway) intensified again, and this time it lasted for about 3 or 4 seconds, then went back to the default light intensity.

After this third time, I was no longer inclined to fall back asleep and got up. Interestingly, it was the EXACT time for me to do the synchronised meditation, and I did it. (I felt some extra-terrestrial force wanted me to do the meditation.)

Freak factor number 2. Some days later, I left some lights on in the hallway and lounge at night time and shut my bedroom door to check. NO light was visible from the top of the door AT ALL! The default background light coming from the top was ALSO supernatural...

That's my story. I was a bit freaked out by it, and felt the presence was disappointed I got scared. It never happened again.

Could you add a little more to this for some insight on this - specifically about the intersecting planes? I had an experience like this 2 days ago and I was left a bit baffled - even moreso now that I ran across this thread with a relevance to my experience.

Good question. No, the puddle of light itself changed shape and moved. There was only the one light and it was mesmerizing. When the event was over the normal puddle of light returned.
