Yes it’s an orb
Had a cat that chased one that my GF at the time saw too
Her grandmother had recently died in the house as well
Bluish white orb

It moved slowly towards the center of the ceiling. Then it moved towards us. And then my wife says it disappeared. But to me it looked like it went back into the normal puddle of light that is always in the one same spot on the ceiling above the curtains.
