Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Technology exists to create a fake but realistic Trump "concession" video When I watched Trump's alleged concession speech I was reminded of recent stories that the technology currently exists to make a fake video of a real person. Did a bit of research and found this article which explains how this works: "Recent advances in artificial intelligence have made creating convincing fake videos, or deepfakes, of real people possible. While the ethical implications and the creative capabilities of this amazing technology are only beginning to be explored, there are growing concerns that this technology could be used maliciously to ruin reputations and cause extensive damages. Can you spot a fake video in which a famous person is saying things that are totally untrue? For example, if you are watching a viral video of President Barack Obama, can you tell whether it’s fake or authentic?..." You should really look at this: [ link to www.topbots.com (secure)] |

Second off, they have had the ability to clone humans since the late 40s..
Trump could have been replaced a few times since 2016.. |

Quoting: AlphaWolf OK, but I'm not sure how that relates to this post? When you carefully watch the "concession speech" with magnification, I could see slight gaps in the image at the point where the neck goes into the shirt. Such gaps would not be there if the video was really of President Trump, but would likely be there if someone used still images of Trump to construct the video. |
