That seems really fantastic for business interaction, but I'm not feeling it for my personal privacy. Blockchain can be traced back to the most minute movement. It's the perfect weapon for a witch hunt.

Well when you go there they are mostly talking about crypto payment integration with domains on the blockchain.

But in the future payments and information will be integrated with your blockchain domain and you can chat and email and build blockchain sites and send and receive payments from your .crypto or .zil domains.

My understanding is that these new domains on the blockchain can never be censored or taken down, hence, unstoppable.

Also you can pay peer to peer directly without any third party bank or payment service. And in very small fractions which is difficult to do today and would revolutionize a lot of things in a potentially very humanitarian way.

I wanted to add: A big difference between the new .crypto or .zil blockchain domains and the way things are now, is that when you buy these domain names and set them up "claim" them, they are yours forever, it is a one time fee only (40.00 for .crypto, 20.00 for .zil).

Right now when you register a domain name you have to keep re-registering it and paying fees to keep it over and over.

I bought 4 domain names a while back and figured out how to "claim" them which I found kind of challenging, maybe it wouldn't be for someone else.

I have a lot of business ideas and ideas for web sites so I secured those names for the future.

Elastos is a Chinese scam project. Raised millions during the ICO boom of 2017 and founders dumped their holding. They had a court case with investors .

There are many alternatives to decentralised internet but elastos ain't one.

The way I understand it you can boot it from any "smart" hardware or PC.

Network OS? Hell no. My OS and files stay on my SSD where I have control over them.
