From Ashli’s viewpoint the window frame on the protesters’ side blocked her ability to see him crouched in far left doorway laying in wait.

She would have only seen him a split second after climbing up and going through the window and by then he came out and shot her point blank in cold blooded premeditated fashion.

She had no chance and thought the Capital Police right next to her were allowing her to go through peacefully.
