So what is scary about these comparisons is that there isn't one massive unifying movement as there was then. Instead, we are all divided amongst several fronts and that will create less expansion and attempts to conquer opposition as was seen with Hitler and the Nazi Party. I always use as an example for people how when Germany was about to come into tyranny, the people all had a similar opinion: they just didn't care.

It didn't affect them.

They could still dance. They could still sing. They could still drink and carry about their days blindly, ignoring everything going on around them.

That is where we are today.

People are fucking weak. Mid twenties people barely able to cope with reality all the while acting like it doesn't affect them.

This is a big problem.

So many of the really good ones even have been so badgered with negativity they're giving up.

I get your point, but from a historical standpoint the people of Germany supported Hitler by an overwhelming majority. Hitler was essentially a nobody military veteran who decided that enough was enough when faced with the Allied Starvation Blockade of Germany following WWI. Germany was literally being starved into extinction and even the British Commander stationed on the Rhine at the time, Herbert Plummer, wrote back to Britain stating that his troops were losing morale at the nonstop sight of bloated, starving German children. Hitler, and German veterans who were out of work and facing desperate times with their families, decided to act and took to the streets and took their country back the hard way (This is why the current American Deep State is so afraid of righteous Patriots taking to the street and challenging their authority). At some point Hitler went bad and the righteous anger at Versailles turned into a need for revenge and poor military strategy.
