At the hospital today I walked past a line of sweet looking and nice average Joe and Jane America type people (employees and members of the public) who were lined up waiting for their not-a-vaccine shot. All thinking they are lucky to get a chance to get it.

I feel like I got punched in the gut. I hope they are okay. Employee health offered me one and I said I am delaying it until cleared with my allergist due to a massive anaphalytic reaction I had to something still unknown last year. That did happen, so that is the excuse I used. They bought it. For now.
