the irs in the netherlands thought that those families where cheating as in fraude..

and instead of doing more research or talking to those families they just ordered them an ungodly amount of money and on top a big fine..

when you get a bill for 30k or 50k all of a sudden there are not many people who can cough that up.
so yeah i don,t have to explain what happens after that
everyone is under pressure, divorces, selling your house, car , if you don,t have it paid you don,t get any other deductions etc etc etc etc etc etc etc its just one slippery icy slope with dish soap after that..

and no one wanted to listen , all the whistleblowers where silenced or ignored and no one with real power gave a single fuck but 1 dude(who was actually able to do something about it because he was a member of the government.)

after years, an independend investigation started where all the people who are responsible where called on including the prime minister..
and then the dam burst..

but still no money for those people.
