Indians is a term Columbus used because he thought he found a route to the west Indies.
Indian Ecology: Native people lived a good life in America. The land was their refrigerator. The water was drinkable. Animal life was abundant. They never worries about food. The land was their pharmacy.
They were hunters, gatherers, farmers, fishermen. Same as we once were.
