First of all he is fine physically. he is 82.
But I cannot fully describe the feeling I got when I first saw him today. I got a strange sensation that something has changed like it's not the same person but like looking at an imposter!?
I know that sounds crazy and he looks the same and is well but when talking to him something has changed...

So thinking back to today's visit..
He was sat in a different chair - first time I have seen in 30 years!
No white wine - every sunday (for last 10 years) we have a glass of white wine in memory of my mum. not today!

And something else I noticed was he was reading a newspaper without glasses! Never seen this before!
