Assam and Nepal: 189 die and four million people displaced in worst floods for years

Officials say an estimated 3.4 million animals have also been affected by the floods, including rhinos, elephants and tigers.

Devastating floods in India's northeastern state of Assam and neighbouring Nepal have killed 189 people and displaced more than four million.

Around 28 of the Assam's 33 districts have been affected, making it one of the worst floods in recent times.
