I’m looking to order one and don’t want a crappy one.
Any tips welcome as well because I’m new to this!

Out of curiosity kate, why a crossbow instead of a gun?

Also, you do realize that a crossbow big enough to be useful is likely not only going to be expensive but also going to require large amounts of strength to operate right?

Save on ammo for hunting, I learned a bit about crossbow hunting this summer when I took the hunters safety program and I’d like to get into the sport. I’m pretty strong these days from lifting weights daily so that shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m seeing prices from 600.00 CA to 1700.00, that’s a big difference so I thought I’d ask.

Rofl I would hardly say a crossbow saves you money on hunting considering that the bolts cost close to 10 dollars per one and it is really easy to lose one or have one hit a tree or bone and bend etc...

The only reason I would recommend a crossbow is that they are quieter than your average firearm, but you can buy a silencer for a 22 rifle and get some subsonic ammunition and hunt without the people next door knowing about it.
