Out of curiosity kate, why a crossbow instead of a gun?
Also, you do realize that a crossbow big enough to be useful is likely not only going to be expensive but also going to require large amounts of strength to operate right?

I was hoping to go to the range where I live since I took those courses this summer but everything is shut down!! Anyways it is what it is. I just pulled up a Canadian Tire website for the store we have in town here that has this one in stock and they offer curb side pick up. Will it be good to start out with? [imgur] [ link to imgur.com (secure)] I prefer reverse draw crossbows because they tend to pack more of a punch because the bolt has more room to travel before it leaves the crossbow. The one I used to have was very fun to shoot and pretty damn accurate. I sold it eventually when I realized how expensive the bolts were and that it would not make a good survival tool when a 22 rifle is soo much better. I eventually picked up the Ruger 10/22 takedown and I am quite happy with that purchase.
