Plus it's kinda dumb to have a ton of them at the mall where everyone has to walk a fair distance anyway. That's not even getting into the bullshit lawsuits by that scammy shithead lawyer in California (who was not disabled, and made the costs for small business insanely high). I have a hard time understanding what anyone says without lip reading and with everyone wearing masks....I can relate somewhat (no one 'looks' hard of hearing or deaf) but the parking thing isn't a good battle to fight. Oh, I'm the guy usually on the scooter.. I am not overweight and look normal.. The looks I get sometimes are hideous.. like you could not possibly be disabled.. I bought a "swagtron pro" on Amazon, and it literally gave be some of my life back...The trick is learning to ride it at a walking pace...That's how I get around in a large "mall" area. Some days I can almost pass as ok, other days my legs don’t work, or my speech is off, etc. If it’s a good day, I’ll use a normal spot, if it’s bad, I’ll use the reserved. It’s not someone else’s job to gauge that for me, nor would I them. Life is hard enough with conditions, no need to add others bullshit to it. I never bother strangers for that reason - no one should (unless it's a young woman trotting spritely in high heels or something, and even then....) But family, who I know have abused it? I give them royal shit for it.
