The nation’s largest trial court system announced on Friday that its 4,600 employees would be required to get vaccinated against coronavirus “as a condition of employment.” However, judges are not included.



The Los Angeles County Superior Court told staffers in a letter that they must be immunized “no later than 45 days after the Food & Drug Administration gives finals approval to at least one COVID-19 vaccine.” According to a recent report by The New York Times, the federal agency is expected to fully approve Pfizer-BioNTech’s vaccine “by the start of next month.”

Legislation introduced in Congress this month would require any semi-automatic rifle that has the capacity to accept a detachable magazine to be registered under the National Firearms Act.

The bill, H.R.4953, was filed last Friday in the House by U.S. Rep. Ted Deutch, a Florida Democrat who is outspoken in his support of gun control measures.

"Congress passed the National Firearms Act after the 1929 Valentine's Day massacre to tightly regulate certain machine guns & shotguns," said Deutch on social media Friday, going on to say, "It's time to update this law & regulate the weapon of choice in mass shootings: semiautomatic rifles."

Lacking from the Congressman's talking points is the fact that FBI crime statistics for 2019, the most recent year available, list rifles of all kinds as the type of weapon used in 364 of 13,927 tracked homicides across the country, or in about 2 percent of cases. By comparison, knives were used in 1,476 cases, or more than four times more often, while bodily weapons such as hands and feet were used in some 600 cases. Non-firearm/cutting weapons such as rocks and blunt objects were used in 1,593 cases.

The Biden administration, frustrated with widespread failure of Democrats’ plan to Defund the Police and its predictable skyrocketing crime rates, is now seeking to repeal the federal “Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act.” This landmark 2005 law was designed to protect exactly what Biden and his team now seek to outlaw—legal activity.

“They avoid the tough, politically challenging task of going after the perpetrators of brazen outdoor daylight murders, who are often non-inclusive people of color in disadvantaged neighborhoods. It’s true but not politically correct to acknowledge, which is why CNN and mass media in lockstep do not,” said Alan Korwin, an award-winning author and consultant to JPFO.

Biden’s team has instead chosen to scapegoat fine, historic, capital-intensive employers and manufacturers of the firearms America depends upon to preserve peace and freedom. Mass media is playing along with this abhorrent scheme, by failing to point out the obvious:

1–The murderers are already heavily armed;

2–They don’t need brand new guns from retail outlets;

3–The “superb” existing background checks have had no effect;

4–Critics say the checks are largely a failed distraction (ask JPFO about that);

5–Most of all, ethnically non-diverse actors, operating in discreet, easily identified areas, not cities, are frequently known to law enforcement who provide little enforcement, to prosecutors who do little serious prosecution. Long rap sheets are a hallmark of the few perps caught, and the problem.

Rather than face these known gross failures, which perpetuate the problems and obscene rates of assaults on innocent children, inner-city women and men, and partisan gang members, the power elite has assembled its leadership from the most anti-gun-rights states—all seven of them. They’re attacking a primary law protecting the Constitution and fundamental rights of the American public, in place for nearly 2-1/2 centuries. If this wasn’t so unfathomably bizarre it would be fiction, but it is not. The so-called “news” media has once again failed its ethical obligations and taken up a role as a mouthpiece for an openly corrupt central government and its unconstitutional proposals.

I’ve heard a lot of bad arguments regarding a lot of things in my life. One is this idea that there’s a right to safety. In other words, the government exists in part to provide safety for each individual and anything that someone thinks makes them unsafe is something the government should outlaw.

Yeah, it sounds ridiculous.

However, it gets worse when people use that to try and justify anti-Second Amendment positions, like an op-ed in The Daily Cougar, the student newspaper at the University of Houston, does.

April may be the cruelest month, but August isn’t looking so great for David Chipman, President Biden’s nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).

We recently published an alert on Chipman’s work promoting ShotSpotter, Inc., a surveillance tool for local governments that critics call “useless, expensive, racist technology.”

Since then, reports have emerged that Chipman failed to disclose in his Senate questionnaire his interview with a Chinese state-run network, CCTV, and broadcast by CGTN (China Global Television Network) America – a network described as “an arm of China’s propaganda machine… controlled by the Communist Party.”

Among other things, the questionnaire requires the nominee to “[l]ist all interviews you have given to newspapers, magazines or other publications, or radio or television stations, providing the dates of these interviews and four (4) copies of the clips or transcripts of these interviews where they are available to you.” Chipman notes, at page 18, that the list represents his best efforts “to identify all interviews given, including through a review of my personal files, and searches of publicly available electronic databases” but that the list might fail to include material that he was “unable to identify, find, or remember.”

The December 15, 2012 interview, still posted on YouTube at the time of writing, is titled “David Chipman on Connecticut School Shooting: What Can Be Done Now?”

During the interview, Chipman discusses the Sandy Hook shootings and the need to “find meaning” in the killings by enacting gun control legislation. Chipman claims that “right now, in the U.S., 40 % of gun sales occur in this country without any background check,” a claim that has been thoroughly debunked – in fact, shortly after Chipman’s interview, the Washington Post’s fact-checker gave then-President Obama three “Pinocchios” for claiming that 40 percent of firearms are sold without a background check. Chipman follows up by ignoring the federal law that prohibits persons who have been adjudicated as mentally ill, asking, “shouldn’t we check to make sure someone doesn’t have a mental health history before acquiring a gun?”

There are several indications that the interview was not prepared by individuals familiar with American terminology. Chipman is introduced as a “special agent for the U.S. Bureau of Firearms and Explosives” (the captions read “U.S. Gun Enforcement Officer” and later, “U.S. Gun Control Officer”), although he later clarifies that he is now “retired and working for Mayors Against Illegal Guns.” That group appears in the interview as “Mayors Against Illegal Drugs.”

American news outlets assert that the Chipman interview was intended by the Chinese government to distract attention away from a mass-stabbing incident of 23 schoolchildren in China that occurred on the same day as Sandy Hook.

Eleven Senate Democrats Vote Against COVID Tests for Illegal Immigrants at the Southern Border

Eleven Senate Democrats on Thursday voted against a modest and commonsense amendment to the Senate Budget Resolution that requires illegal migrants apprehended on the southern border to be tested for COVID-19 before they are transported into the country.

The amendment, introduced by Senator Roger Marshall (R-Kan.), a physician, establishes “a deficit-neutral reserve fund relating to protecting migrants and local communities against COVID-19.” Under the provision, migrants will be quarantined and not transported from the border until they tested negative.

This minor impediment to the Regime’s goal of fundamentally transforming the nation through mass immigration was supported by Majority Whip Dick Durbin, and Majority Leader Chuck Schumer. The majority leaders urged the eleven radical Dems to switch their votes to be in favor of the amendment “to create the illusion of a united front on the issue of public health at our southern border within the Democrat Party,” according to Marshall in a statement Thursday.

In the end, the amendment passed with a final vote of 88-11.

The eleven far-left Democrats who voted against the amendment are Sens. Cory Booker (N.J.), Martin Heinrich (N.M.), Maisie Hirono (Hawaii), Ben Ray Lujan (N.M.), Ed Markey (Mass.), Bob Menendez (N.J.), Chris Murphy (Conn.), John Ossoff (Ga.), Bernie Sanders (Vt.), Tina Smith (Minn.), Liz Warren (Mass.).
