I think that will be what kicks this into open war. Remember Trump won in 2016 on immigration reform. Yes the 2nd Amendment and repealing Obamacare were important, but it was his stance on immigration and building the border wall that really got him elected.

Now, you have not hundreds, but thousands of migrants coming. In the end, you could be looking at millions of peoples streaming across the southern border.

Of course Joe and crew will do nothing to stop them. They will welcome them with open arms. Texas will likely send it's national guard to the border, along with New Mexico and Arizona. The fed will order them to stand down and probably do the same for ICE.

Texas, Arizona and New Mexico will refuse and probably order their National Guard units home. This will set up a conflict between the red states and the Fed. In Response, the Fed will move to nationalize the state guard units.

You might even see the Fed move to remove those Governors.

You can imagine what comes next
