Until your military service has required you neutralize enemy combatants and invaders in the defense of your country, don't presume to tell us that have defended you that you don't support every shot we fired to eliminate that enemy. |

It would only take a couple hours to go through Montana and Idaho, then I'd get to Utah and it seemed like it took all day. every time Quoting: zzcat Try driving through Texas..... 'Freaking took me three days!! Years ago, not too long after entering TX from the west, I had this odd feeling like the ground beneath us was about to fall out. It lasted for miles, and then I saw a sign for a cavern. Although I was barely even awake, I understood where the feeling came from. Given my father had held me over the edge of the Bottomless Pit area of the Carlsbad Caverns when I was a little girl - - I felt compelled to stop and check it out. Plus, my son needed a break from driving. I felt the little girl fear as I entered the cave, and came out with that all cleared up. My eyes loved it and it was a fun tour! Now I want very much to go to Mammoth to see those caves....it is an exhilarating feeling to know that you're in an underground "room"....not the safest feeling while thinking about it irrationally, though. I knew I was going to have an at least two hour hang time, so I planned to go to the caverns, but they were closed. I was bummed. I instead went to this nature walk park....but it did not have the wow-factor I'm sure the caverns would've had. Heh, the only thing I remember from my visit there when I was little was the big welling of fear that surged up in me, hanging over the edge. What teh hell was my father thinking?.... Went to cave of the winds when i was a little kid, they shut the lights off for a few minutes when we were deep in the cave. It was scary A cool place to go is lava beds, lots of caves of various types. zzcat who says Schrodinger's cat is even in the box |

It was actually pretty cool. I believe God gave me the words because I was pissed but it all came out very respectfully and well worded. My wife said I was very diplomatic, not sure how it happened. It ended up going well. I promised him my boys wouldn't point nerf guns and him anymore and he promised not to race up and down my street. He was worried I'd get the cops involved and I said I wouldn't as long as he followed the rules and speed limit. I told him my little girl wouldn't be afraid of him to ride her bike in front of her own house and he agreed. People can be reasonable if you talk to them right. It all went really well. I'm thankful. A coward dies a thousand times, but the valiant need taste of death but once. Fear cuts deeper than swords. #Notmypresident. |

I'm thankful. Hes just a young kid with a really suped up truck and thinks it's cool to drag race up and down my street. Hopefully we put a stop to that. I basically said we all have to live here man. I'm not going anywhere and neither are you, so let's have some respect for each other. I think it went really well. I'm so relieved. I didn't want to start a war with neighbors. A coward dies a thousand times, but the valiant need taste of death but once. Fear cuts deeper than swords. #Notmypresident. |
