Salt of the earth people! The song so does remind me of one of my ex-bosses....a very kind and honorable man, but he ain't no joke. The song has a very serious feel to it, and so does the...well, I suppose I should call him "friend" now, ex-boss sounds to final for me.

I can throw away the job, but I can't throw away the love I've had for both of them, husband and wife boss-team. I'm going to need to call them each, thank them for the work they did give me - I did so love it - and leave it on a loving and open hearted note.

Until now, I've mostly only said the least I've had to to get my pay. I had to be that way, otherwise I might've blown up....and I can do a stellar job of that . I had to steel myself to be in neutral when I called or texted them.

Well, we just finished getting two cracking basement foundation walls fixed with rebar and cement inside the cement blocks. French drain redone and new sump pump. Grand total 25 grand. Took weeks to organize and move and box up 20 years of life. All those preps too. In a huge pile in the middle and in the garage. Next week we start putting it back.

Dealing with a cracked foundation that could have crashed in brings a lot of allegories to mind regarding this nation. The socialist communist wokes have departed from truth and common sense and righteousness. One of these days its all going to cave in if we dont shore up our foundations. Hard to watch, but praying for God to move in some mighty way.

Yeah, that was what I "heard," and why I wrote that I needed to calm down....harhar, except for the love part. The feeling from what I heard was that I was being demanding.

I'm just going to go with the flow....then someone will come along....
