there is a cave in the mountains near where i live called "the crystal cave"

it's a bit of a goat hike to get there and i only do it once or twice a year. when i go, i bring a bag of tea lights with me, light them up, and put them on little shelfs and ledges throughout the cave.. it's a wonderful ambience.

lol, i sort of assumed the cameraman (actually, i think this one is a woman) was following safely behind the monk with the lantern.

If I had the chance to do it all over again, I’d buy a cave in a marvel or granite mountain. No 2G thru 6G wireless cancer crap, no buzzing 24-7 in my ears, no door-to-door nuisances, no bad weather. With a little work and plenty of money you could find one w a terrific view. I’d run a conduit line w Ethernet and power lines to solar grid and antenna up top. I’d grow hydroponic plants w LEDs and a water well source in one of my chambers. I’d get game from the mountain.

i've also considered that the "killing buddha on the path" statement refers to pretenders claiming to be an enlightened buddha, when clearly they are not. while i do not advocate killing anyone in the physical realm, perhaps it would be appropriate to delete a false prophet's impression in one's own mind/emotions, lest s/he be hindered or distracted from following their path to enlightenment.

a cool idea, although granite caves like the ones in the mountains where i live carry a radioactive hazard of their own.. radon is heavier than air and tends to pool in cave depressions so not sure i'd want to live there unless i had good ventilation!

i knew about engineering of buildings being a factor to withstanding or succumbing to earthquakes, but i was unaware of the factors surrounding the composition of the earth/ground underneath the building.

He was the subject of the first biography I ever read in grade school, and the also of two papers I wrote...

Tesla was an interesting guy, our modern electrical society was invented by him. I’ve tried to understand some of his more esoteric papers and inventions but I believe crucial details are omitted.
