Not that hard to do, I did and I know many others here. No place will be 100% perfect but it sure is nice living here. It's about 75° here in "The City of Eternal Spring" up in the Andes mountains, sitting on the balcony having a beer listening to music. Cable/phone/50Mbps internet = $30/month, utilities (gas, electric, water, sewer) = $40/month. Gasoline is expensive but other than that most everything else is comparably cheap.
If I had a dollar for every time I got suspicious...

I'd wonder who was paying me, and why?

I was told you have "Taxi Rides" in Columbia.

Maybe "The City of Eternal Spring" is much nicer and don't have to worry about that.

How are the drugs on the streets in Columbia? :)

I lived in New Zealand for 12 years, and I don't recommend it.

Unless you are truly in danger of torture, imprisonment, or death, don't move out of your country.

Instead, ask yourself why you want to leave, and then take action to create the life you really want to live right in your own country.

Your problems are in your head ... and wherever you go, there you are.

Not sure about "taxi rides", but never had a problem with taxis. We have an SUV but use a driver if we're going to a party and will be drinking.

We don't do drugs and nobody has ever offered on the street. Like any huge city if it's something you're into though I'm sure it can't be too hard to find.

If you are against Biden and retarded or digital nomad come to Serbia.

Everyone here absolutely hate Biden because he bombed us for no reason under Clinton administration. He was the dog of war back then, paid by the Albanian drug cartels.

Europe, but not in EU. Between modern and conservative. Great relationships with both Russia and China. Almost everyone speak English. Great Healthcare, Jordan Peterson was here for healing recently. Most beautiful women in the world and one of the best cuisines. Everything dirty cheap.

Americans are flocking in Belgrade recently due to liberal rules regarding covid and many will stay for good.

Thank you! Appreciate your reply. It sounds like every other major city that has its great neighborhoods and some not so nice places.

English and American friendly there? :)

Very american friendly in my experience, great neighbors and never had a problem. English is another matter though, I couldn't function where we live (suburb of Medellín about 160% the population of Saint Louis Missouri) without being able to speak spanish. Other parts of town where more foreigners live it's not hard to find people that speak English.

Re: If you could move to another country
I saw this thread in my active threads and remembered I wrote "lichtenstein" ... but that was flippant.

Really, I'd stay right here.

In New Jersey. South Jersey.

We have 4 seasons. We have a beautiful ocean. Mountains less than 3 hours away.

The air smells like hot sand and pine.

I see bald eagles everywhere now. It's cleaner than it ever has been in my lifetime.

We harvest clams.

We can be in the best cities in the world in less than 3 hours, too.

Our garden is bangin'

I went on a 15 year odyssey in my early 20s that saw me living in 5 states, 10 or more towns ... and I came back here to raise my kids.

When I die, I'm going to be living in the shadow of the Barnegat Light, looking out on that wild, but comforting ocean. I really don't think I could give that up. Not even for Lichtenstein.

Hello Kitty used to print on their little items .. "bloom where you are planted".

It's bizarre to take advice from Hello Kitty, I know ... but there's no place like home.
When the shit hits the fan and the end is just nigh, will you cry out to Heaven? Will you lie down and die? Not me, my dear one - THIS IS MY SACRED LIFE - to no one nor no thing I'll surrender. For how does one know where when dead she will go, or if sweet Mother Earth he'll remember? - Sug
