Republicans don't want a president, they want a King and now they are going to refuse to legislate,

and they will force Biden to rule by fiat, like a King. Presidents are a relatively recent historic phenomena, history, known and ancient, is replete with Kings and somehow their thinking is Archaic and throwback. Republicans like to throw the word "Patriot" around, but when patriots were revolting against King George they were all loyal Kings subjects. You see what they want is tyrannical control where they have special privilege and life and death authority over others and to use others like toys to satisfy their own wants and desires. The king has total control of everyone and working down the pyramid each layer has control of the layers below them and that is republicanism. That system worked quite well all through history up until the 19th century when the royal shit got thrown into the fan. Now there are people who want to go back to that system. Where would you be in that system?
