Thats because they've been fighting themselves for 1000s of years then the British, Germans, Dutch, Portuguese & Japanese now the Americans...

They have the world economically and will move on to aggressive global expansion when the time suits them.

No that has nothing to do with it.
The Brits have been fighting themselves too. China has an introverted society, they are inherently not globalist by nature.

Xi, Putin and Trump belong to the sovereignist faction, that is their ideology.

Globalism and imperialism have little do with each other really. China engaged in imperialism as early as the Han and as late as the PRC conquest of Tibet. National borders in every nation leading up to the modern world are the result of conquest mostly, and treaty only in very specific circumstances. China is multiethnic and multicultural over a geographic area thar far exceeds the heartland of China, and those lands were taken by force. You can change the name to the People’s Republic of China and it won’t change the fact that it was formed through imperialism

That is the same thing saying as England is an imperialist country because of the English lands it conquered in the British Isles (within their own cultural sphere).

No, that is not it, Britain was an imperialist country because it conquered lands beyond their cultural sphere in Africa, Asia.

Globalism is imperialism 2.0 or neo-imperialism. The USA is using their naval force to protect their trade routes or sabotage trade routes of a rising competing economical power. And this has nothing to do with communism, heck even if China was a liberal democracy we would still see tensions.

“Sphere of influence” is another abstract human construct that has little to do with morality or political self-determination. Without the original use of force, Scotland and Ireland would be separate from the UK. Those modern societies have voted on multiple occasions (at least, in Ulster) to be a part of the UK. But there are still very large groups in those regions who wish to be separate. The ROC is on the other end of the spectrum.

I’m not arguing about globalism. I’m arguing that in absence of the force required to take political control, either from a change in morality or ability, the local population is the only group suited to choose it’s political organization.

If China were to forcibly reacquire Taiwan, it would be conquest and therefore imperialism. Regardless of whether or not China has machinations to control the whole world through globalization. And let’s not pretend like China doesn’t manipulate nations worldwide for their own influence either. They’ve been involved in politics in the Middle East, SA, Africa and elsewhere for several decades.
