Years ago I was an avid listener of Short Wave Radio, one of the host, sorry can't recall his name warned of coming events that will seem so real, but were in reality simple holograms.

He advised to close your eyes, use all of your senses to discern if what your eyes were seeing and your ears hearing was in fact real or a hologram.
