Thanks for posting the link this gives a whole new perspective to him and how he came into his own as an artist.

Another great Dutch artist was Henricus Antonius "Han" van Meegeren.

Very odd. The only time I could ever paint and paint well was when I was drunker than drunk. I went very heavy in the oils and it took one painting three months to dry. It was good stuff. No more tho.

So much emphasis in this life..... that jealousy is wrong....

The title to this thread while fun isn't really accurate for the past 4 months I've watched him. Sure, maybe he shouldn't drink at all if he's on medication for his issues. At the same time, he's not drinkin everyday as the title would have you believe unless he's hidin around corners where we can't see him. Most times it's Friday be it pretty early sometimes, but unless he has someone over for drink/s he seems to keep it pretty clean through the rest of the week.

And really...if someone wanted to point a finger at unhealthy choices it would be at the poor food choices he makes. Even when he's not drinkin it looks like he just eats a lot of junk along with drinkin numerous 1 and 2 liter bottles of soda.

He's been doing a lot of painting lately :)

Maybe he's just come out of hibernation. Although...according to some reading I've done on him he can't sell art work of any kind "above board" for fear of losing his gubmint subsidies. Hopefully he's able to do some under the table sellin and doesn't have neighbors or others nosing in on what he does.

The camera is all cockeyed where it's a side view of the tv but still has a couch view. Did he get drunk and knock it or is he tryin to hide somethin?
