I'd like to be able to say it was probably a network error or something, but I can't. There is an instantaneous jump, from one moment to the other the camera has been zooming in deeper. As if maybe 1 or 2 seconds were edited out. It's unmistakable. But contrary to OP, I am not surprised. I know it is customary with live TV broadcasts to include a short timelapse, so what you see on your TV screen happened a few moments earlier where the action is taking place. This is probably to allow the recording to be stopped in time when they see something is happening that the public must not see. 20 minutes missing EXTRA from CNBC (EDITED OUT) other broadcasters may well have edited out ONLY 12 minutes so that explains the 11.48am swearing in It proves it was NOT LIVE We were watching a PRE-RECORDED presentation Why? ..... sounds like Dominion where directing and producing the MOVIE!! So in fact Biden was not sworn in at noon on January 20nd, right? |

| Anonymous Coward User ID: 77067565  United States01/23/2021 10:45 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Had it on mute and looked up and it was ten minutes early and screamed to someone "hey why is he being sworn in ten minutes early?" and the dem someone said "it doesn't matter he could have been sworn in at midnight if he wanted". I said "but trump has AF! and the football in florida" because he's still president until high noon. Friend said "it doesn't matter, so we have two presidents for ten minutes, no body cares". And the nobody cares is really the crux of the matter. Been talking to millenials and they say "it doesn't affect my life who is in the white house or who is in dc so I just ignore it all" and then I ask "did you vote?" And they say "yeah I voted and I voted for the guy who didn't screw up the pandemic". They are so ill informed and trained not to complain about a thing. It's downright terrifying. |
