But yea, someone posted this thread last night (presumably being serious) so I made a parody of it.

I live in a very conservative county in rural Colorado.

At first, maybe half of people were wearing a mask. Now, everyone is. Don't see ANYONE in the store without one.

So this theory holds no water. Everyone already is wearing the mask. Been this way for months now.

that was very interesting on so many levels.

I haven't washed my bandana mask in 6 months now. Makes a nice rag too when I'm eating in the car after shopping at Walmart without washing my hands.

Somehow, I haven't even had a cold in the last year.

Yes, it’s starting to look like masks don’t really work after all.
But’s it a lot better doing that to appease them than having them think they need to shut down business and travel to stop the spread.

I'm wearing it for 2 reasons despite knowing it does nothing.

1. The stasi are out in full force reporting business's that let people in without a mask.

2. Id rather wear the stupid mask and go about my life than be stuck at home with everything closed

There is one store though I don't wear it... The local feed store. The owner is an old rancher and looks at you like you're an idiot if you walk in with a mask on.

He used to be very standoffish with me until I started talking about what a fraud both the election and corona are. Now he treats me like his best buddy when I come in. Cool old rancher guy.

Rural Coloradans are the best! Moved to Loveland last summer, lots of mansheep there.

I wear a mask while at the grocery store because it's mandatory unless you have a medical condition.

There are Karens lurking around every corner waiting to accost anyone caught without a mask. So I just wear one for a half hour.

Masks make everyone feel better, especially the NPC's.

Gotta choose your battles..

I don't think it'll be mandatory tho. It'll be more like last sitting where half wow it and half didn't.

I laughed so hard when I saw an idiot standing in a river fishing wearing a blue face mask.

I'm talking in the middle of nowhere,probably an hour from anyone else except for me. Most people aren't willing to hike an hour through the mountains to fish lol. Made my day. In his head he probably thought he could infect the fish. I really don't know what the idiot was thinking

I live near Durango. One of the nicest towns in the country imo. Unfortunately the college here draws in a lot of liberal nutcases from California.

I'm waiting for everyone that wears a mask and takes the vaccine to end. The collective IQ should rise noticeably.
