Our quality of life between 2016 and 2019

Food was cheap, mag dumps at the range, MAGA partys on the water, morale was high, then the democrats released covid.

ill be honest. my quality of life has significantly improved because of everything after jan 2020.
but in the 3 years before that the same thing was happening just at a slower pace.
most of this mainly because of the job i started 3,5 years ago

Nuking of DC should be coming 3rd to 4th month, after inauguration. Since, “inauguration day nuclear holocausts” is too cheesy to use in general history, post nuclear holocausts. Thus no nuking happened first day.

Wait till unqualified, Pro-communist, dictator (want-to-be ),anchor baby, Harris takes over as POTUS in about 6 months..(after they throw criminal Joe 'Pedo' Biden under the bus )
Things are really going to turn to shit.

Like, between 2008 and 2016, when our nation was being run by criminal's,spies,killers, crooks and 'high-treason' criminals..we're back to that point again.
And because these criminal's (mostly 'high treason') never went to jail.. most are back in control!
And, it's going to be worst!

With Obama in the rear view mirror and a pro-business Trump administration with improved taxes, favorable economic policies, and cuttings of unnecessary regulations made it suitable for many including myself and partners to open new businesses in underserved marlets.

Build a manufacturing and hospitality centric business in 2016, opened in 2017, had a very good run nearly reaching profitability by 2019. 2019 had internal struggles with external conditions but still broke even by the end of the year with many capital improvements.

The onset of China Covid-19 peaking in 2020 essentially shut down the most profitable aspects of the business. Internal struggles were allowed to progress without a plan to remedy. Lost on average $40-45k per month throughout 2020. Likely will not survive as a business long in 2021. Bankruptcy with about $2.5M debt and maybe $850k assets is sure to come knocking.

Quality of live. Working long hard hours from 2016 into early 2020 earned a good return on my investment and a solid paycheck. Very little personal and family time. High stress through 2019 and 2020. Still a good income and stability.

Now 2021 is DooM on. I have strong doubts that I can afford to lose $45k per month for another full year.

I do not see any light at the end of the tunnel until Biden and the Dems are overthrown.

In the system we live in, the economy is the indicator of just about everything. "It's the economy, stupid!" When it is good, we are too busy to enjoy life. When it is bad, we can't afford to pursue an enjoyable life. Every once in a while there is a window to have fun.

The US is in trouble. Has been in trouble for a long time. The dark parties that decided that the USA would be the world police only cared about immediate personal gains. Better times for the US and the nations of the world are ahead of us all, but a true liberating revolution for personal responsibility and power from the people has to happen.

I'll suffer 2021 out and maybe even make plans to start or join another business. I will probably retire and make that time for myself and family. A long vacation abroad is probably in order. I am not too worried about long term. The young generations are going to be in trouble though.

Beer tastes better. I and the wife made a shit ton of money on real estate. Just dumped our last property. Retiring at 53.

Obamacare was destructive to us and through no fault of our own. We did not have a choice in the matter. EVERY time I've mentioned online what happened to us, I've been called a liar. In the last few years, we've been able to get out of medical debt and buy a house.

can't vote on that OP.. my quality of life is my creation and it does not rest on covid. But I do miss some activities I was committed to and some social stuff...

My life has improved radically.

Can vary based on your region, especially if you are unable to leave. But if you were mobile there was opportunity in many places. The energy sector boomed. I personally went were the money was at and it paid off big time.
Made responsible financial decisions and planned on the downfall that we see happening now. Trump provided the atmosphere by eliminating red tape and regulations. Those days are gone forever now. America has been sacked.
I will be raising chickens and a huge garden to hedge against what is coming now.

Mine definitely got better under Trump. I would say that my income increased around 30% during the time that he was in office.

It has tumbled down the drain. Used to be a nice green area, almost like a village. Quiet and safe. Now it's built up with trains stations, roads and huge highrise apartments. Absolutely no peace left :( On the social side, lost a lot of people close to me. Almost all alone now, so yeah.
