My friend has a theory and I think she could be on to something. She thinks the royal & elite want to do away with all government & leadership and do it themselves. Now with technology & robots, AI, they don't need all these layers & she says she sees them going directly now making deals on their own etc.

that would be fun. that's the play for the final push before the human factions system.
