I heard on the radio that most of the internet was down in north-east USA (DC).
They claimed it was a back hoe cutting a fiber optic cable.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78552034   LOL. Now why would a back-hoe be digging and breaking one cable??? C'mon man. The entire northeastern coast??? One little fiber optic line??? That's some crappy redundancy and fail-over planning and mitigation huh?
