I think you’re confusing hospice facilities with nursing homes

Hospice facilities are special places that take patients who are within the last five days of their life only —they withhold all medical treatment and allow them to die. It’s unlikely that they have Covid in those places because the patients are immobile \ bed bound \ and not exposed to infectious agents.

The nurse who said she seeing hospice may be an at home hospice agent. Home hospice nurses see pts who have less than 6 months to live. NO doctor worth his salt is going to give the vaccine to person on hospice because being “ in hospice” means you’ve been certified terminal already — a vaccine would be a waste.

Nursing homes care for the elderly who are unable to live at home, but are not terminally ill.

Nurses that work there often chose it for higher pay, and better hours, not bc they lack hospital level skills. Nursing home work is a thankless job.

I studied these homes over the past month. I discovered two things right off the bat. 1) Run by lard left. 2) Most these nurses seem to loath in the dying and dead. If they didn't they wouldn't work there. Yes some are good and wish to help. Most didn't seem to care at all. They enjoyed seeing someone die, then enjoyed giving the loved ones the bad news. NEXT!
