I don't know if this fellow John says it on this vid but I remember reading at one point that THIS was the real reason Anthony Bourdain was murdered.

Apparently Bourdain, who traveled so much, was staying at the Marmont that night. He noticed that something strange was going on in one of the bungelows or units (where the kid was murdered) and as he was friendly with the staff (because Bourdain was well liked)....they actually told him what happened. That Schiff had accidentally killed this black kid.

I'm not sure how it got out that Bourdain knew, he must have let it out somehow but that's supposedly the real reason they murdered him.
