I am a semi-professional trader (still have a day job for now) and today I watched retail investors control GME Gamestop. But it didn't end there. They also moved into NOK Nokia which I have 800 shares of so I had a big day.
It was pretty funny watching the blockheads on CNBC trying to place blame on Reddit users WALLSTBETS. These bastards finally got beat at their own game of pump & dump and they can't handle it! All the wins don't matter, they have to win ALL OF THE TIME.
The rest of the market tanked because of investor fear (I will take your shares, thank you very much for the discount) as they finally woke up and realized that the market can be manipulated VERY easily.
NO KIDDING! It has always been this way, every day, since I have been a trader. This is nothing new except for the fact that RETAIL investors made it happen. OOoooooh we can't have that now can we?
Now I see President Biden is going to get involved! Can't have the little people moving in on the rich man's game! They even froze trading on my NOK in the afternoon, I watched it happen live.
I hope they are ready for round 2 tomorrow.
