what kind of idiot are you? A stock price makes the stock holders rich or poor not the company. It is a reflection of the company and the reality of a worthless company is a worthless stock price.

It only helps the company if they can raise new money, if either a bank or others are prepared to buy more stocks from a new public offering or are able to raise funds from new borrowings.

None of this is going to happen so no, it is not going to help the companies one iota. Everyone is just using them to play games.
