They are desperately looking for a scapegoat or whipping boy

But what THEY fail realize is that the thing THEY wish to destroy in the individual or group is actually in them and in their own group as well. It’s everywhere and in everyone. Give any side a planet of its own and they will eventually fight amongst themselves.

If THEY acknowledge this and calm down they can save themselves. If THEY can’t acknowledge this and they keep looking for their adversary they will destroy themselves. This is the ultimate paradox that destroys civilizations. There may not be a way to stop this cycle.
