I had cream of wheat for the 1st time in a very long time. The box was sealed, but it expired in 2013!

I thought, what the hay (or wheat, in this instance), if it doesn't taste good, I'll just throw it all out. But, it was surprisingly delicious, just the way I remember eating it as a kid. I probably bought the box out of nostalgia for it then never got around to making it. I have several cupboards full of expired food I never make. Prefer to make everything from scratch. Today, I made an exception and glad I did.
