And for FOUR DECADES (nearly 40 years) they claimed that the Greenbriar Resort in West Virginia was just a resort in the middle of nowhere (almost impossible to get to except by train before the expressways were built) and was just a place where THE SUPER RICH liked to go to play golf and ride horses.

WHOOPS ... in reality it was the secret place with underground bunkers and all that jazz that the US Government was going to go to in the event of a nuclear war. (but oh was the food and golfing great!!) FWIW the Afternoon Tea was a MUST DO event in the main living room, and free, and it did have a LOT of super wealthy people around almost all the time, but there is no way the number of people staying there could come close to paying for the HUGE overhead bills of that 27,000+- acre Gilded Age resort that is for sure (was 65,000+- acres for a long time I seem to recall but now down to ONLY 11,000 acres).

Great, but unlikely, cover story.
