everyone handles this differently

many stores honor medical exemptions, and ADA forbids them from requiring proof.

I simply say : I don't wear a mask and proceed on my way into the store or whatever it is.

living in a sane area, no one cares, even if mask signs are everywhere.

one time the woman would not let us in - I said I will find another store.
She said - it's a citywide rule.
I said - so we'll go to another city (and did).

only happened one other time - we left. They have no idea how much future business they lost.

when my late husband was alive, I wore a mask when he had procedures in outpatient settings. Would have done that prior to this craziness if asked. Also kept my hair covered, hair is a great source of infection if it falls into a wound.

I’m sitting at the gate in Orlando...maskless. Signs posted everywhere that it’s mandatory. Guess how many people (or law enforcement) have said a single word to me? Zero. Why? Because they KNOW it isn’t enforceable. Now, I have to take a plane, and I’ll have to wear a mask...but I haven’t worn one since I walked through the front door. The mandates will increase as long as the people comply.
