"LOVE" is merely a dump of addictive hormones into the brain.

"LUST" is much the same, though different, and centered on the physical side of existence and reproduction.

NEITHER is anything special, just a chemical addiction at work, much like a cocaine addiction or an alcohol addiction.

I gave up on "LOVE" decades ago when I finally figured out that ALL of Disney's stories were total fantasy and had no relevance to the real world.

I am sure you can find a 12 step program to help you lose your addiction ... but a persona has to WANT to become sane again before they have any hope of actually becoming sane again.
