I’m gonna wear a mask. I’m going to do it because I want to minimize my chances if not getting it. No matter how small, because I have a compromised immune system. I’m also going to wear it because I don’t want to minimize my chances of giving it to my family and other people who are trying not to get it. If you mock me for doing it while I’m minding my own business, I ignore you because I think you a dick for not being willing to do the same. If you tell me or others We are REQUIRED to wear one, you can go fuck yourself.

Mask wearing. You know there are studies BOTH ways on it. There is no proof that mask wearing does one thing either way. For every "study" and article you have that says it works, there are just as many that say it does not. What I find selfish and ignorant is that so many mask wearers are absolutely 100% convinced that mask wearing is a morality issue, "common sense" and works, and are completely willing to be hateful to another person, and assume the worst of someone not wearing a mask even to the point that think they should be arrested!

As a medical professional, I find it completely fascinating that NOBODY is pushing the NUMBER 1 thing that prevents transmission, and that is WASHING HANDS and next, NOT TOUCHING YOUR FACE. Hand washing is the most important thing you can to to prevent transmisison of ANY illness....the masks are only to help inforce distancing when you can't maintain 3 to 6 feet...that's all. The masks do NOT prevent you from getting this virus. My sister is scrupulously clean and an 100% wears mask ALWAYS and she got COVID. Her entire family got COVID, and they all were mask wearers, and strict about it. The only one who DID NOT get sick in her family was her 17 year old son. People need to just sit down and shut up on the mask issue, because they really have no clue. Quit being crappy to people no matter which side of the issue you believe...quit treating people like shit. How about that for a concept?

The government wants it. They should be the ones to enforce not the drivers and conductors. You don't expect drivers to enforce the traffic laws. How is this any different. Drivers are not armed and don't get paid enough to endanger themselves by confronting passengers.

I manage a local tax prep office. The town I am in has a mask mandate. I will not wear a mask, the owner will not wear one and my employees do not wear one unless a customer requests it.

We have people come in the office with their mask on and normally they see we do not have one on and ask if they can take theirs off. Not one person has said anything bad about us not wearing them. We have picked up several new clients because their friends told them we are not enforcing the mask mandate.

I am in a mid sized Eastern Tennessee town, I am sure that if we were in a big blue state things would be different, however we do get lots of clearly democrat people judging from things they say.

I have two rules I tell all my employees
1. Do not discuss politics!
2. Do not discuss religion!
