On your side here!! But also Canadian and know how gun control was implemented in Canada. It turns law abiding good people into criminals when laws are passed and they chip away at the gun grab one firearm at a time by banning them.
 Quoting: -Kate-

That's cause Canada doesn't have a Constitution and is half controlled by the British Monarchy and a bunch of French Commies.

We don't either, anymore.

Not really

In the USA 88.8% of citizens own guns, 293 million armed. If 1 out of 1,000 resist that's 293,000 incidents of resistance. If only 1 out of 100,000 resist that's 2,930 incidents of resistance.

Its logistically impossible to predict who will shoot back if they try to confiscate. The government simply doesn't have the resources or manpower to confiscate firearms in the USA.

What if they stop ammo sales? Sure, that can make an impact but what about the current stock in homes? It will take decades to wait out the ammo supply to a near zero amount.

Just my personal opinion

I hear you.

But - none of us here would have thought in 2019 how easy it would be to get all the churches closed for 11 months and to get everyone to comply with wearing masks everywhere. Or to have a court system completely ignore in-your-face electoral fraud.

And it has happened before in history such as Australia.

We need to be vigiliant and not think it can't happen here or that they will at least try something we haven't thought of yet.

What they will do is crash the economy, institute ubi and more hand outs and make it conditional upon you registering and or turning in your firearms. These people have this all planned out

What does ego have to do with it?

Currently Dallas police priority one calls average around eight minutes response time and priority two calls average about 27 minutes.
 Quoting: [link to www.nbcdfw.com (secure)]

Supposedly, the average response time in a major city in Texas is eight minutes, which I strongly doubt is accurate:

It took Dallas police more than 30 minutes to respond to a fatal shooting early Sunday at the Westin Galleria after the first 911 call was made, records show.

The case may be an example of low staffing at the city's 911 call center, which currently has 69 call takers, below the desired strength of 90.

Maybe if you live in the middle of a farm in Iowa, you may not feel the need for a gun, and you may leave your front door unlocked.

This is where empathy and understanding that not everywhere is like where you live comes in.

People keep posting this like it’s brand new. Tomorrow someone will post 130 like that is new. Both have been posted numerous times.

You should have already contacted your senators about this.

It probably won’t make it, but if it does remember one thing. NEVER REGISTER ANYTHING. Live in a county or city that is a second amendment sanctuary. That was you can own what you want and you can store it the way you want.

In second amendment sanctuaries the feds can’t touch you.

THIS!

These house resolutions have been out since Jan 4th for the most part. Full text has been out since last week. There is no shortage of information out there from forums to youtuber's posting about these matters.

Sometimes I wonder if the election and firearm/ammunition shortage has been a distraction for some 2A supporters from legislation matters.

"If one understands that socialism is not a share-the-wealth program, but is in reality a method to consolidate and control the wealth, then the seeming paradox of super-rich men promoting socialism becomes no paradox at all. Instead it becomes the logical, even the perfect tool of power-seeking megalomaniacs. Communism, or more accurately, socialism, is not a movement of the downtrodden masses, but of the economic elite." -- Gary Allen, 1971

It needs to become an issue that both sides come together on.

Either people have the right to defend their life, or the entire police system needs to changed.

Currently, the police DO NOT HAVE A DUTY TO DEFEND YOU.

June 28, 2005

The Supreme Court ruled on Monday that the police did not have a constitutional duty to protect a person from harm, even a woman who had obtained a court-issued protective order against a violent husband making an arrest mandatory for a violation.

Re: H.R.127: Firearm Licensing and Registration Act
Registration is the first step to confiscation. Once they know where the guns are they can send out the goon squad to confiscate them. As soon as they have your guns are going to start taking your stuff since you can no longer protect your stuff cuz you no longer have a gun. It's what communists always do they take stuff from those who made it built it earned it and give it to their cronies in exchange for their support. United States has become a communist dictatorship ruled by executive order not through debate and Congress.

A noose would be appropriate for these traitor commie conspirators which drafted and cosigned this H.R.127 monstrosity. You can't legislate the risk out of life. If you can't handle the various flavors of life, perhaps move to a cave in the mountains or create a colony in North Korea.

Think of how many things have been done already that are unconstitutional!!
