Social contract has been broken for a while now. You act like the Constitution has never been amended before. You do realize the law and rights do not matter if government does not enforce and protect them right? It's not some words on a piece of paper that enforce the law it's people. You saw exactly what happened during the riots, the government refused to enforce the law except for people opposed to the rioters.
