For me it's a simple place to hedge against inflation and I can sell it slowly down the road not having to pay any capital gains tax, at least until they eliminate cash and implement an all digital currency which they won't do because the rich like to launder money and evade taxes too.

If you have $2000 laying around, why not invest it in your children's future? Rather than opening a savings account and watch their money get inflated away, buy them one of these and let them have some purchasing power when they grow up
