Just got a notice my sons leftist teacher is failing him for not properly doing an assignment on beach erosion and climate change.

What we said was build a wall, kind of like the wall they are building around congresss, planting palm trees and positioning sand bags.

We wrote an essay to make all this bullshit sound good.

Right, sea levels rose approximately 400 feet at the end of the last Ice Age. They probably don't even know that.

Also some might say we are still coming out of the Little Ice Age, or entering into another.

Son should do his project on the history of climate change and the fact that climate isn't and has never been static - it has always been changing since day 1.

Greenland Ice Cores absolutely do not point to a time when the climate was stable. Earth climate is only stable in 300 to 500 year increments. It is ever changing and is actually cooling right now. Also why don't you look up Moller Minimum a lack of sun spots?

Most beach erosion is caused by building ridiculous beachfront condos on what was once pristine beautiful and enjoyable sandy beaches. The sand dunes are flattened, the sea oats and palmetto groves are bulldozed, and the long leaf pine forest is uprooted for scenic highway with no scene.

Hurricanes are the second worst destroyer of beach areas. Barrier islands help, but storm damage always erodes the beaches.

Some of these damaging factors are mitigated by regular dredging to replace lost beach frontage. Also, maintenance of intra-coastal waterways deposits sands back onto land.

Climate change global warming and melting the ice caps will not dramatically raise the ocean levels. That is a crock of crap. Maybe these changes can not be mitigated in the case of low laying islands sinking.

How about some real solutions rather than carbon tax panic that will not solve anything?

I got one. As the ocean levels rise up, why not take the used plastic water bottles and instead of tossing them into the ocean to kill all the whales, fill them back up with seawater and toss them in the landfill. Gets rids of the rising water, and builds up the landmass at the same time..... Literally throw the ocean away....

This will continue thru college. I went back to school after 30 years to finish my degree. Every class, even ones where topics like climate change, diversity, and other liberal favorites had ZERO relevance, the professors found a way to work them into the curriculum.

I encourage young people to go into trades. Today most people cannot fix anything, do plumbing, electrical, hvac, or install a roof. I know tradespeople who charge extra for a job when they pull into the yard and see a Prius or a Bernie or Biden sign. When someone has 4 inches of raw sewage in their basement they'll pay ANY amount to make that go away.

Meanwhile, to get the good grade, blow sunshine up the professor's ass and tell them what they want to hear. Later in life they'll need to smile and sign the paycheck so this is good practice.

We are fast approaching an Ice Age that is being held off with Stratospheric Atmosphere Injections. Planes fly low creating excessive cloud cover. The cloud cover induces a Greenhouse effect keeping the planet warmer. If they weren't clouding the sky most of the US would have temperature swings like a desert area.
